You’re Invited! Yes!  Seriously!  Keep reading…

On March 20, 2017, Green Schools National Network (GSNN) will launch the first edition of Green Schools Catalyst Quarterly! When I started dreaming about a publication that would become a guidepost for the green schools movement, I envisioned something that would share stories, lessons learned, and best practices from the leaders and educators who are transforming our schools into places that embody a sustainable mindset, from the buildings and grounds to classroom curriculum. I am proud to say the Quarterly has met, and dare I say, exceeded my expectations!

The first issue of the Quarterly, aptly titled A Movement Comes Together, takes a step back to highlight the confluence of work that has been completed to date to advance green, healthy, and sustainable schools. As far as I know this issue is the first time we have attempted to document the history of the green schools movement! And while it is by no means a complete review of all the events, people, and programs that have shaped the movement, it does show how the various pieces have started to come together.

Even more exciting…GSNN will be distributing this issue to over 30,000 people through our partnerships with the Green Schools Alliance, National School Boards Association, and U.S. Green Building Council. We also plan to make the Green Schools Catalyst Quarterly free for its first year of publication. This project is made possible by the generous buy cheap generic ambien support of GSNN’s members, so if you enjoy this first issue, do consider becoming a member! In fact, the first 10 new GSNN members will receive 2 free books. You can learn more about this special offer on page 2 of the Green Schools Catalyst Quarterly.

This publication is truly a milestone for everyone who has worked tirelessly to get the movement to where it stands today. Therefore, I believe a celebration is in order and I cannot think of a better place to celebrate than at the Green Schools Conference and Expo. So, grab your party hats and join GSNN on Monday March 20th from 7 – 9pm at the Interface Atlanta Showroom for our Green Schools Catalyst Party and Family and Friends Event! There will be food and drinks, including a Titos Mule Bar (courtesy of co-sponsor Titos Vodka). We will also be raffling off some great prizes and kicking-off a silent auction that will continue throughout the conference.

Best of all, it’s free to attend! You can RSVP here.

Spread the word and mark the date on your calendar to join the celebration as we launch the Green Schools Catalyst Quarterly, and kick-off the 2017 Green Schools Conference and Expo by spending an evening with our green schools friends and colleagues.

And if you have not yet, don’t forget to register for the conference! It’s going to be a great one this year!
