It was there that her love of hip hop\, food and culture was born. Upon attending high school at the prestigious Illinois Math & Science Academy\, her love and loyalty to PBL as a liberatory pedagogy began. Since then she has been about that PBL life. Prior to her role with PBLWorks\, Dinah was the west regional director for EL Education. She is a proud former Deeper Learning Equity Fellow and is currently honored to be serving as a Deeper Learning Equity Coach.\n\n Dinah has over 20 years of experience in education and has served in various leadership capacities for districts\, schools and nonprofits. Her previous roles have included: a high school teacher/ principal\, an executive director of family/community engagement\, and a school turnaround consultant. She shares Barack Obama’s alma mater\, Occidental College.
