Designing Schools as Living Systems Creating sustainable schools requires more than individual programs, it requires seeing the school as a connected system where leadership, culture, curriculum, facilities, and community all influence one another. In this Community of Practice, participants will explore the principles of systems thinking and discover how successful schools use a whole-school approach to create meaningful and lasting change. Through inspiring examples, practical insights, and collaborative discussion, educators will examine how interconnected systems can strengthen student outcomes, organizational effectiveness, and environmental stewardship. Whether you're just beginning your sustainability journey or looking to strengthen existing initiatives, this session will provide a shared foundation for thinking differently about school improvement and sustainability.

Measutring What Matters How do you know your sustainability efforts are making a difference? In this Community of Practice, participants will explore how meaningful measurement supports better decision-making, stronger storytelling, and continuous improvement. Through GreenPrint360, GSNN's measurement and reflection platform, participants will discover how data can help schools monitor progress, visualize impact, and identify opportunities for growth. Rather than collecting data for reporting alone, this session focuses on using evidence to drive conversations, strengthen planning, and celebrate meaningful progress toward healthier, more sustainable schools.
