Marine Ecology, Human Impacts, & Conservation

Grades 6 - 12

In this curricular unit (nine lesson plans), students learn about marine ecology, human impacts on the ocean, and ocean conservation to develop a better understanding of the health and importance of our planet’s oceans. Students use this knowledge to create and propose a management plan for a Marine Protected Area.

Grade Level: 9 – 12
