Peak Water: Mount Everest and Global Water Supply

Grades 6 - 12

In this curricular unit (three lesson plans), students learn about sources of fresh water and watersheds and develop an understanding of water scarcity and the impact of human activity on water resources. Using what they learned, students design and propose a public education outreach campaign to inform their community about human impacts on water scarcity and inspire citizens to take action.

Grade Level: 6 – 8
